About Us

Our Story

My name is Chris Brust and I own and operate Ozark Acres Farm. My passion for raising animals started as a young kid when my older brother won a pig in a raffle at his school. I remember having our first litter of pigs and as soon as I got off the bus from school, I was in their pen playing with them.

I had a long break from farm life. But, as I got older, I wanted to get back to my roots and start raising animals again. I currently have pasture raised poultry for meat and eggs, and pasture raised pigs. My team consists of my wife Heather, my daughter Cassidy and her husband Alex. I call the meat and eggs that we produce “happy food”. I love spending time with the animals and giving them the best life I can.
