Bundles & Subscriptions

Here at Ozark Acres Farm, we have carefully put together bundles that consist of different cuts of pork, chicken and eggs. These bundles allow you to get a variety of meat without having to purchase different cuts separately.

We also have convenient subscriptions bundles available each month, where you can expect to receive various amounts of meat, depending on the size of the subscription, as well as different cuts and varieties. This includes chicken, pork and eggs. When you sign up for our subscription box you will be able to choose a pick up time that best suits you each month.

PORK

Ozark Acres Farm raises heritage breed pigs. Our pigs are kept in one central area that provides them with shade, food and water. Off of this central hub, we have separate paddocks that we will open up for them to have access to every few weeks. We keep them rotating in different paddocks to allow them fresh ground. Our pigs are able to forage and root for bugs, worms and roots to allow for a more natural diet and keep them happy and healthy. We keep their water fresh and clean and keep our pigs cool in the summer by providing them with muddy watering holes. We are proud to say that these pigs are loved and well taken care of for the duration of their lives.

CHICKEN

We receive our meat chickens when they are 1-2 days old and keep them in a brooder for their first 2-3 weeks of life, depending on the weather. In the colder months, we keep a heat lamp on them to stay warm and the brooders keep them safe as they are so little when we receive them. After staying in the brooder, the chickens are moved out to pasture where they are protected with an electric netting fence. They also have an enclosure that keeps them safe from predators, which we lock them in at night to ensure their safety. They have plenty of access to food, water and shade. We move our chickens as needed to give them access to fresh ground to forage for bugs.

EGGS

Our laying chickens provide us and you, with the best tasting eggs. They are protected with an electric netting fence that keeps them in and predators out. Their chicken coop stores their food and water as well as houses their laying boxes. The coop is kept off the ground with a slatted floor that allows their poop to fall to the grass below, instead of staying in their coop. This makes for healthier chickens and a well fertilized ground. We move our chickens as needed, about every few weeks to give them access to fresh grass and enable them to forage for bugs to live a healthy life. We lock our laying chickens in their coop at night to ensure their safety from predators.
